Frequently asked questions
What does smart ambiance lighting cost?
It depends on how many spots you want to light and what's already there. A few LED strips and smart bulbs in the living room is a very different job from a whole facade of Christmas lights. After the visit you get a fixed price upfront, with the products listed separately and by name.
Do I have to replace all my lamps?
No. We often make your existing lamps smart with a smart bulb in the fitting, a module behind the switch or a smart plug. We only add new lighting where it really adds atmosphere.
Will my normal light switch still work?
Yes, we make sure of it. With a module behind the switch or a wireless button the familiar switch keeps working — handy for guests, the babysitter or the grandparents.
Which brands do you use?
Whatever fits best. For example Philips Hue, IKEA, WiZ, Govee, Nanoleaf or Twinkly for the lights, and Shelly or Sonoff to make existing lighting smart. Where possible we bring everything together in one app, such as Apple Home, Google Home or Home Assistant.
Can outdoor and Christmas lights be smart too?
Definitely. Facade lighting, garden lighting and string lights can run on a schedule or switch on at sunset. Outdoors we only use products rated for it.
How soon can you come?
The weeks before Halloween and the holidays are the busiest, so get in touch early. If you need it ready by a certain date, mention it in your request and we'll work out together what's feasible.
Do you come outside Eindhoven?
For the home visit and installation we cover Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Best and the wider Brabant region. Setting up or extending scenes and apps also works remotely.
